For as long as I can remember I’ve been an avid animal lover. I grew up with dogs, chickens, horses and a steer, and have been told my entire life I just ‘have a way’ with all animals. I’ve been working for Walk This Way since I moved to California a year ago and it’s by far the best job I’ve ever had. Previously, I would pet sit in Colorado; dogs, horses, goats, and cats! I feel beyond blessed to get paid to be with my furry friends everyday. The love of dogs is like no other.

I have been a dog lover All my life! I’m a chocoholic too. Working for Walk This Way is Heaven for me! I've been working for Niki since August 2009, and I still can't believe I get paid to do this. And if I use the word "work", I put it in quotes because it doesn't seem like "work". We have so many Fantastic dogs, and I just love watching them play and have so much fun together!!

Julie
I have always had a love for all animals. Having worked as a veterinary technician for 15 yrs in practices from Boston to Colorado that treated small animals like birds, iguanas and turtles to larger animals like cats, dogs and the occasional baby elk! I also volunteered at the New England Aquarium in Boston, feeding orphaned baby harbor seal pups in order to get them strong and old enough for release.
What I love most about this job is being able to be around such gentile, calming souls. It's hard to have a bad day when you're surrounded by such happy, wiggly, loving fur babies! I love our Clients as much as their doggies and treat their 4 legged companions as if they were my own.
Julie lives with her Husband, Steve, Daughter, Zoey, 2 dogs, Hank and Poppy, 10 chickens, 1 pygmy goat, Clarice, and 2 Nigerian dwarf goats named Johnny Utah and Tule.

Born and raised in Mill Valley. I have been hiking the beautiful Marin trails my entire life. I am an animal lover, particularly dogs and horses, and I have always had a dog in my household. I have a lot of experience taking care of animals. I have a degree in Biology from Cal Poly State University and my goal is to go into a career in environmental and wildlife conservation.

I have always loved animals, especially dogs. I've spent my whole life with them. It started when I was a toddler and we got our first Yorkshire Terrier. By the time I was in elementary school I was lucky enough to get my own Pomeranian.
My dog career started at a doggy daycare/overnight facility where I worked for 3+ years. I learned a lot about all breeds of dogs there.
I now have an Alaskan Malamute named Aloy who's 3 years old and is my world. I love getting to know every dog I walk (and their humans). It enjoy learning more about our furry little friends every day.

First let’s cover what draws me towards the bond of nature and animals. I've always had companionship with dogs, people, peace and nature. The opportunity to blend these elements seemed to be a natural fit. Trails fill my desire to be outdoors, dogs fill the sense of companionship outside of my daily connection to family and friends. I enjoy seeing the reward surface in the dogs I walk as we develop a balanced relationship between beauty, friendship and mutual necessity. I feel the time is well shared and equally rewarding.

Ok, I'm not officially employed, but I sure am part of the team!
You might see me herding the pack or sleeping in the car on the way home. I love to "work" at
Walk This Way CA.
Livin' the Dream!

I’ve always had a dog in my life. Four years ago I was blessed with my very own dog. She’s a miniature long-haired dachshund and she is my world. I’ve always wanted to work with animals and help them in anyway I can. Being able to get to work with Niki, all the amazing pups and clients is just a dream come true to me.
Best. Job. Ever.
